Hilja Ibert has over 25 years’ experience from the international diagnostic industry, from which she has an extensive leadership experience. Dr. Ibert has previously held the position as VP International Diagnostic Solutions at Hologic, and several senior positions within Becton Dickinson and bioMerieux. Dr. Ibert also has experience with early stage R&D companies, like her position as CEO for miDiagnostics in Belgium.
Dr. Ibert holds a PhD degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Bonn, Germany.
Erling Sundrehagen, co-founder of Gentian, holds 25 international patents. He has over the years headed the development of a dozen diagnostic products creating businesses with 1250 employees. From 1984 to 2013 he was the Head of Scientific Projects in Axis-Shield, comprising 3 consortium project in EU framework programs. Dr. Sundrehagen has held several management positions in Axis-Shield pls, Axis Biochemicals AS and Axis Research AS.
Dr. Sundrehagen is dr.med.& cand.real (Dr. Med. Sci., M. Sc.) from University of Oslo, Norway.
Njaal Kind has more than 20 years of experience and extended track-record within financial management and reporting, corporate governance and Investor Relation. Kind has served as the CFO for TiZir Ltd in London, England from 2013-2017. Before that, Mr. Kind has been Business Analyst in Eramet Comilog Manganese in Paris, France (2009-2013) and Investment Director in Tinfos AS in Oslo, Norway (2003-2009).
Kind holds a MSc from BI Norwegian Business School.
Torsten Knüttel has more than 18 years’ experience from the diagnostic industry, pharma R&D and commercial supply chain. He previously worked at ThermoFisher Scientific with international OEM/B2B business development within the IVD industry. Earlier in his career he worked at GE Healthcare within the development and production of radiopharmaceuticals, technology transfer, project management and regulatory affairs.
Dr. Knüttel holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.
Anne-Mette Horsrud Akre has 20 years of experience from the international pharmaceutical industry through different positions within GE Healthcare and Fresenius Kabi. This has given her an extensive experience within GMP, Quality Management, Production of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device for a world-wide market as well as third-party manufacturing. She has several years of experience from different management positions in Quality Assurance at Fresenius Kabi (2006 – 2019), and recently as Director Quality Assurance (2017-2019) with a staff of 50 employees. With experience from the international pharma industry, Akre has managed several international customer and authority inspections with successful results, e.g. FDA, China, Brazil, South Korea.
Ms. Akre holds a Msc in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Trondheim, Norway.
Aleksandra Havelka has extensive experience in a field of Laboratory Medicine. She has a long career at the Karolinska University Laboratory where she was employed as Biochemist and Unit Manager. Dr. Havelka was involved in teaching and education at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and Akademiska Hospital in Uppsala. She has participated in several national and international research projects, mainly focusing on biomarkers for inflammation and infection.
Dr Havelka holds a PhD in Experimental Oncology from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden
Janne Veggeland has more than 25 years of experience from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Throughout her career she has worked both as a scientist and in management positions. In the last decade she has hold different management positions in development and manufacturing in both GE Healthcare and ThermoFisher.
Ms. Veggeland holds a Msc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bergen, Norway
Bente Marie Falang joined PreTect as CEO in February 2016. She has been with the company as Laboratory Manager since 2004, with several roles within production, R&D and QA. She has 30 years’ extensive practical experience from the biomedical industry participating in development of molecular diagnostic methods, specialized in HPV mRNA detection. Before joining PreTect, she spent 10 years in a research group at Rikshospitalet, focusing on immunological techniques.
Ms. Falang holds a B.Sc degree in biomedical laboratory engineering from Rikshospitalet in Oslo.
